The Inn

Offering gracious accommodations at a reasonable rate to discerning travelers since 1985.

Built in 1904, Salisbury House has been home to some of Seattle’s premier families, it has been renovated carefully to maintain the historic flavor while providing modern comforts.

Each of the guest rooms is a corner room on the 2nd floor, while a large, 640-square foot, comfortable suite is located on the lower level. The four guest rooms share a sunporch off the upper landing with wicker furniture and plants. The sunporch has a refrigerator and coffee and tea, all available 24 hours.

Mornings usually start with coffee and the New York Times and local papers in front of the library fireplace. A full (meatless) breakfast is served family-style in the sunny dining room overlooking the garden. Breakfast is served from 8-9:30 AM, no need to make an appointment. Arrangements can be made for "breakfast-to-go" if you have to catch an earlier flight, or ferry. Take a moment to view our recipe page which is updated often with our special creations.

We know our city well and love to share ideas on how to make your stay more enjoyable. We’ve been featured in Fodors, Frommers, National Geographic Traveler Magazine, Sunset Magazine, and other national and local publications, as well as awarded 3-stars by Mobil Travel Guides.
